Four UNM alumni earn prestigious NMDIG grants for film projects
Four alumni from the University of New Mexico College of Fine Arts have been named recipients of the highly competitive 2026 New Mexico Documentary Incubator Grant.
After graduating, Film & Digital Arts alumni Alonso Rappa landed a role on the AMC thriller Dark Winds, filmed in New Mexico. Alonso portrayed a boy gone missing in the critically acclaimed TV show alongside a star-studded cast that includes Zahn McClaron and Kiowa Gordon. Rappa was then cast alongside actors like Dennis Quaid in Sovereign this summer.
