Nicole Kessel

Nicole Kesel is both a passionate educator and active entrepreneur. As an Adjunct Faculty member in multiple departments at The University of New Mexico, including the Department of Arts Leadership and Business, and The Department of Film & Digital Arts, her teaching emphasizes embodied learning and transdisciplinary curriculum development. She has collaborated extensively with Albuquerque’s local art and film communities to provide real-world projects and collaborations to her students. While Nicole is an arts educator, she is also an entrepreneur, developing and managing several small businesses and working as an independent commercial video producer on high-level client material. 

Nicole earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in art education and an M.A. in art education from The Ohio State University, where she also taught as a lecturer in the Art Education department until moving to New Mexico.
