Alumni Makaio Frazier’s short film premieres at SFIFF
Congratulations to Film & Digital Arts alum Makaio Frazier whose film "The Way We Carry Water" has been accepted into the renowned Santa Fe International Film Festival
After graduating, Film & Digital Arts alumni Alonso Rappa landed a role on the AMC thriller Dark Winds, filmed in New Mexico. Alonso portrayed a boy gone missing in the critically acclaimed TV show alongside a star-studded cast that includes Zahn McClaron and Kiowa Gordon. Rappa was then cast alongside actors like Dennis Quaid in Sovereign this summer. Born in Laredo, Texas and raised in Mexico, Alejandro began his career in film by studying at the prestigious Vancouver Film School. In 2018, he was hand selected by director Robert Rodriguez to be a participant in his documentary series REBEL WITHOUT A CREW. The film he produced on the show, MONDAY, was screened at the 2018 SXSW Film Festival.
