ARTSSPLASH 2024 and Arts Career Fair
Harris Smith, Dean of the College of Fine Arts at The University of New Mexico, announces the third annual ARTSSPLASH event on Wednesday, Sept. 25, from 11AM to 2PM. ARTSSSPLASH 2024 will celebrate Fine Arts at UNM and raise awareness about the various programs within the college. The event will take place on the east side of the Student Union Building, on the Cornell Mall from 11AM to 2PM, with live performances from the Department of Theatre & Dance and Department of Music from 12pm to 1:00pm. Activities include department booths, prizes, food trucks, and a chance to earn an ARTSSPLASH 2024 t-shirt. Please join the Department of Film & Digital Arts at this event and stop by out booth to learn more about us! The Arts Career Fair will take place the same day on 9/25 from 11am-1pm in the College of Fine Arts Lobby.
Alejandro Montoya Marín joins us for the Mentor Series
Born in Laredo, Texas and raised in Mexico, Alejandro began his career in film by studying at the prestigious Vancouver Film School. In 2018, he was hand selected by director Robert Rodriguez to be a participant in his documentary series REBEL WITHOUT A CREW. The film he produced on the show, MONDAY, was screened at the 2018 SXSW Film Festival.
