Angela Beauchamp

Angie Beauchamp (she/her) is our Department Administrator and a film historian who teaches one course each semester, including History of Film I and II, Film Noir, Queer Cinema History, and Images of Womxn. She received the 2022 UNM Gerald W. May Outstanding Staff Award, a 2021 Digital Literacy Innovation Award, and second place in the 2020 Affiliated Faculty of the Year Awards. Her book Eleanor Roosevelt on Screen: The First Lady’s Appearances in Film and Television, 1932–1962 will be published by McFarland in fall 2023.
Angie is also a member of the UNM Staff Council Executive Committee and chairs the Staff Council Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee.
