Deborah Fort

Professor Emerita Deborah Fort is an accomplished educator and independent filmmaker, whose work spans documentary and experimental media, exploring themes of identity, perception, and creative process. Her unique approach to filmmaking includes single channel films, interactive video systems and improvisational performances with other artists. As she retires from full-time teaching, Professor Fort is grateful for the incredible journey she has experienced throughout her career, and the many talented colleagues and students she has had the pleasure of working alongside. She remains committed to developing new and innovative media projects and looks forward to continuing to inspire and engage audiences with her work.
