Steven Blacksmith

Steve Blacksmith is a writer, producer, filmmaker, and theatremaker from Albuquerque, New Mexico. He holds a BA in Media Arts and MFA in Dramatic Writing from the University of New Mexico. His career has taken him through many aspects of technical media production – from broadcast to film to studio work and now, education.

He is the CEO of City College Productions, a media company that produces various types of media from podcasts to films. His directorial feature film debut, Tragedy + Time, just wrapped post-production and will be hitting the festival circuit in 2023.
