3D Character Artist in game development, film, and XR working at Snap, Taolun Guo joins us for the Mentor Series Tuesday 10/8 1:30PM-2:30PM via Zoom.
Taolun Guo is a 2nd generation Chinese-American from Boston whose passion for art was sparked by the vibrant world of 90s Saturday-Morning cartoons, anime, and video games. He is an accomplished 3D Character Artist and Generalist, with extensive experience working in game development, film, and XR pipelines. Taolun’s skill set spans across modeling, sculpting, 2D, animation, and more, with a strong focus on both stylized and realistic art. Throughout his career, he has contributed to a wide range of projects, from optimizing assets for games and film previsualization to managing outsourcing teams. His impressive journey has led him to roles at Niantic, and he is currently working with Snap.
