Charlotte Casey

Charlotte Casey, a graduate who took an unconventional approach to graduation, left the classroom for a more in person education in film production, beginning her DGA card day chasing on set of HBO’s boardwalk empire in NYC. A month later she found herself assisting the First Team PA on S3 of OITNB, eventually being promoted to on set first team PA for S4. Before moving back to ABQ to finish her degree, she PAd for S1 of NBC’s Blindspot, returning to NM in 2017, taking classes while Day Playing on NBCs The Brave. In 2018 after running first team on set for the pilot of CW’s Roswell, she moved to LA to be the writer’s room PA for S1 of Roswell, pursuing her actual passion of screenwriting.

After leaving the writers room PA position for Netflix’s Shadow & Bone, Charlotte returned to NM for 4 months to assist Angelina Jolie on set for the soon to be released Taylor Sheridan film, Those Who Wish Me Dead. In 2019 Charlotte completed filming on her first short film Sundays Child, currently making the (virtual) festival rounds, winning the SAGIndie award at the Holly Shorts festival. Most recently, Charlotte finished production on the Netflix western The Harder They Fall, shout in and around northern New Mexico. Currently, Charlotte splits her time living and working in Santa Fe and Los Angeles, as she closes in on completing the necessary 600 days to get into the DGA, while also pursuing personal screenwriting ventures.
