The UNM Film & Digital Arts capstone program includes student artists from a range of concentrations including Film Production, Gaming, and Animation. By their senior year at UNM, students have acquired the skill sets required for their respective focus and have put that experience to the test through their Capstone projects. Each student in the program has devoted two semesters to pitching, writing, planning, producing, and premiering their final films, animations, and playable games with like-minded individuals in their graduating class. They eagerly anticipate showcasing their production teams’ hard work at the Capstone premiere each year.

XR Performance Hack-a-thon - April 19. Join us for an immersive and experimental evening of XR (eXtended Reality) performance at the UNM Art Museum. This showcase is the result of an exciting collaboration between the Departments of Art and Film & Digital Arts, with support from the XR Lab in Film & Digital Arts. The event features student-led projects that blend movement, digital environments, and virtual reality.
